Configuring Internet Explorer

Here is the process to check and/or edit these settings. Fortunately it's a fairly easy process.

A. Right Click The Internet Explorer Icon on your desktop, then select Properties

B. You're now in the main Internet Properties window. The only settings you need to worry about are under Navigation, and Connection....

Configure HEI as the default Connection

  1. Click on the Connection tab.
  2. Checkmark the option, connect to the internet as needed.
  3. In the pull down menu, select HEI, as the Dial Up Server
  4. Do not Click OK yet!

Configure HEI's home Page as default for start up

  1. Click on the Navigation tab.
  2. In Start Page, (Or Home Page), key http:/www.hei.net
  3. Click OK.

Click Here to Setup Outlook Express


Click Here to Setup Internet Mail
